The UK’s largest privately owned Guard & Utility fleetOur boats are dedicated guard vessels, adapted in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland, from fishing boats by our sister marine engineering company, DR Marine.
A floating HQ platform
The interiors are adapted to ensure our crews are comfortable for their well-being and set up as a floating HQ to perform their offshore work. The decks and exteriors are adapted to suit the various roles. Larger vessels carry a full international load line certificate.
Bespoke modifications
We offer a bespoke modification service to suit our client’s specific requirements and needs.
Specialist guard support technology
All vessels will be fitted with our own technology that not only enables us to deliver offshore contracts to the highest professional standard, but also gives full client reporting and project management support. Vessels will also be linked into the group to enable live fault reporting and solution management via Head Office and DR Marine, as well as HR, operations and emergency response.
Guard vessels
We provide guard vessels for marine asset protection work, offshore energy build & maintenance projects and general maritime security work. Vessels can be adapted by our marine engineers at DR Marine to suit long term projects.

Our boats are painted with our infamous ‘DR dazzle’, a nod to the iconic maritime design by Norman Wilkinson, flipping his concept of ship camouflage on its head.
Quite the opposite, our dazzle enables our boats to stand out as guard vessels and be noticed even in the poorest visibility.
